Find .exe file during online download temp folder

Instead, browse and look for the folder MSI within the www.doorway.ruries: How-To. · Say I want to run an exe from the web, well obviously I rather download it to a temp folder.. run it from there, and delete it (or let the OS do so). Is there any convention how to do that, while being sure not to bomb into permissions issues, overriding exist file etc.? Thanks. EDIT I ment from a desktop application. Find the Hidden files and folders entry and click on the bubble next to Show hidden files, folders and drives under it. Click on OK once you're done. Now that you've made hidden folders visible, you can go to the Temp folder in your user folder: Open File Explorer by clicking on its icon or with the Win + E shortcut. The data will be transferred to a permanent file when the task is complete, or when the program is closed. The installers use the TMP folder, not the TEMP one. Edit: The offline installer doesnt extract *all* files and then copies them all at once to the destination folder, it does so file per file. For SS4 though, this still means you need about 40 GB of free space on the OS drive since all the assets are packed into a single 40GB file.

After you are done with that file, it normally gets removed during a system clean out. Since the files and folders stored in Temp folder are temporary, its absolutely safe to remove them. Now the question comes how to access this Temp folder to clear its content. There are 2 Temp folders present in Windows OS: Temp folder present in C:\Windows folder; Temp folder present in Local Settings folder for each logged-in user.
